Our school policy states that you should not send your child to school if he/she has:
• Fever in the past 24 hours
• Vomiting in the past 24 hours
• Diarrhea in the past 24 hours
• Chills
• Sore Throat
• Strep Throat (must have been taking an antibiotic for at least 24 hours before returning to school)
• Bad cold, with very runny nose or bad cough especially if it has kept the child awake at night
• Head lice until your child has been treated according to a doctor’s instructions
If your child becomes ill at school and administration feels they would benefit from going home, you will be called to come and take him/her home from school. Please be sure that arrangements can be made to transport your child home from school and that childcare is available in case of illness. These guidelines are meant to serve the best interest of all the children in school.

Política de Enfermedad de la Escuela SDA de Milwaukee
Nuestra política de la escuela establece que no debe enviar a su hijo a clases si él / ella tiene:
• Fiebre en las últimas 24 horas
• Vómito en las últimas 24 horas
• Diarrea en las últimas 24 horas
• Escalofríos
• Dolor de garganta
• Estreptococos de garganta (o por lo menos debe haber estado tomando un antibiótico durante 24 horas antes de regresar a la escuela)
• Fuerte resfriado, con mucha secreción nasal o mucha tos, especialmente si ha mantenido al niño despierto durante la noche.
• La cabeza con piojos, él/ella debe regresar a la escuela hasta que haya tenido un tratamiento de acuerdo a las instrucciones de un médico
Si su hijo se enferma en la escuela y la administración considera que será mejor para el niño que vaya a casa le daremos una llamada para que venga a recogerlo a la escuela y lo lleve a casa. Asegúrese de hacer los arreglos necesarios para transportar a su hijo de la escuela a su casa y también que hay quien cuide a sus hijos en caso de enfermedad. Estas pautas son con el objetivo de servir al mejor interés de todos los niños en la escuela.
