The form must be filled out and signed before a student can bring a cell phone to school.<\/em>

Students are not to have cell phones, smart watches, tablets, or personal electronic devices during the school day, or on field trips, unless approved by a teacher or administrator for a specific time and use. Any students bringing cell phones, or other electronic devices to school must turn them in to the office when they arrive at school and pick them up in their classroom at the end of the day.\u00a0 Should a student have an electronic device that they did not turn in, the device will be confiscated and the designated consequences are:<\/p>\n

1st Offense<\/strong>: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The device will be taken and turned in to the office. The student will be given a warning and reminded and that they must remember to turn in their device each morning. It will be returned at the end of the school day.<\/p>\n

2nd Offense:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The device will be taken and will only be returned when a parent comes in with the student to talk to the administration. A behavioral report will be filed.<\/p>\n

Further Offenses:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Consequences for any further offenses will be decided by the administration.<\/p>\n

Cell phone use on the bus:\u00a0 <\/strong>The use of cell phones or any other electronic devices on the bus are a privilege which students can lose should they share with others, play it out loud or distract the driver. Inappropriate use of any cell phone may result in losing the privilege of being able to bring the cell phone to school.<\/p>\n

Segunda infracci\u00f3n<\/strong>: Se quitar\u00e1 el dispositivo y solo se devolver\u00e1 cuando uno de los padres entre con el estudiante para hablar con la administraci\u00f3n. Se presentar\u00e1 un informe de comportamiento.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Infracciones adicionales<\/strong>: las consecuencias de cualquier infracci\u00f3n adicional ser\u00e1n decididas por la administraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Uso de tel\u00e9fonos celulares en el autob\u00fas<\/strong>: El uso de tel\u00e9fonos celulares o cualquier otro dispositivo electr\u00f3nico en el autob\u00fas es un privilegio que los estudiantes pueden perder si lo comparten con otros, lo escuchan en voz alta o distraen al conductor.
